In DP1, if a website sent a push notification via Safari, clicking on the notification would do nothing. Now it will launch Safari and bring up the website.

So apparently safari images are mixed up sometimes.. I was on an.. inappropriate website... and an image showed up from that site, on macrumors' home page lmao.

You mean that typo OP made, made you go to 'inappropriate website'? LMFAO

mail.app is working fine again for me...

switching between apps is still quite laggy - to be fair it's been like that since day one (did upgrade not fresh install on a MBP 13" Retina early 2013) if it doesn't clear up on the next few betas I'll do a fresh install....not experiencing this issue on my MBP 15" or MacMini, both are late 2011

The WiFi indicator has been fixed to make it easier to tell when it's connected and when it's not. There also seems to be a new option relating to the App Store where auto updates will cause the computer to update automatically overnight, rather than the annoying popup notifications. Literally just got Update 1 installed, so I'm still looking over everything to see what has been fixed since DP1.

(EDIT: The automatic hotspot feature is also working noticeably better and faster, providing the iOS device has also been upgraded to DP2 of iOS 8.)

Anyone that couldnt open Outlook for Mac 2011 on DP1 see differently on DP2?

Fixs a bug for me where when I use my wireless Microsoft mouse the curser would be stuck in the top right corner of my screen.

Spotlight seems to be functioning every time rather than only sometimes before. Every cmd-space seems to open it. Before it'd only highlight the spyglass but the search box opened only half the time.

1) When I used to interact with a notification, it wouldn't behave as it should.

For example, with iTunes songs notifications, if I clicked "Skip," it would skip but it would also bring up iTunes. With Messages, if I quick replied, it'd bring up the Messages screen. Kind of defeated the purpose of quick replies and such. Then, if I had a web notification like MacRumors and I clicked it, it wouldn't bring that up.

So basically it would open windows when it shouldn't have and wouldn't open windows it should have. Now, it seems that has been fixed.

2) Handoff is working much better for me, now (iPhone 5s, iPad Air, Late 2013 27" iMac).

3) AirDrop is working much more reliably for me. Almost always works now, vs. before when the iMac and iOS devices could rarely see one another.

4) Everything in general seems much more responsive. I wasn't having very much problem with unresponsiveness previously, but it did get "stuck" now and then. Haven't had any problems with that since updating.

EDIT:

5) Facebook scrolling while typing issue is no longer present.

Also seeing much better performance when recording my iOS devices' screens using QuickTime. On DP1, it would flicker and cut out almost constantly. Now, the recording is silky smooth. :)

The smudged text and wandering type in Safari’s URL bar was fixed for me. Still smudged type in Activity Monitor’s tabs.

The Safari download icon is now no longer stretched and smudged.

Screen sharing a remote computer running Mavericks from within Yosemite Messages works again now.. Was broken for me during DP1.

The graphics don't glitch out as much anymore either. :)
