Things I know about the iPhone that are coming soon.
These are things I know, just like how I knew the iPhone would be 100% activated through iTunes (something I've been saying on forums for months now).

Custom Ringtones, Shortly After Launch iTunes will be updated with custom ringtones from any of your songs and lots of free ones in the iTunes store.

Full iWork Suite, When Leopard Launches in October there will be a iPhone version of iWork, which means full editing of Documents, PDFs, Word, a spreadsheet app (yes supports excel), and the best part is Keynote (like powerpoint) for iPhone. Meaning you can take your presentations on the road to show off.

VPN Support - With RSA Keys, This is already in there. You can access your corporate VPN even with your RSA secureID card, try that you your motorola Q

Exchange SupportFull support for corporate exchange server.

Flash Support, It's coming, it's just a matter of making it customized so that only the visible objects are running, otherwise going to a page with 50 flash items running would kill any 400mhz computer.

Full Cocoa Apps By launch of leopard in October there will be REAL applications for the iPhone, that will get certified by apple for the phone. There will be all sorts of fun things. One I was told about by an Apple employee that was a test app was a voice changing app, that they were playing around with for fun.

Lots of cool games, lots and lots of cool new games taking advantage of multi-touch coming

Lots of custom widgets, hopefully this will start a month after launch.

Apple plans to constantly kick out updates as time goes on to keep adding value to the device. So enjoy, it's just like a Motorola Q on launch day, nothing was out that worked right, but over time more and more apps came out.

All of this sounds great, but how do you know?
