For instance, if I wanted to create a directory for "School" could I have "Biology", "French", etc. divisions within the school directory?

Note this is for "CulturedCode's Things".

From what I understand you'd have to make School an area, and Biology a project under that area. Since Areas still don't sync to Things Touch I haven't really tried them out so I'm not 100% sure.

You could probably use tags in some way as well, since Cultured Code says Things Touch 1.3 has been submitted to the app store and will sync tags.

I've created sub divisions within projects that can be monitored in their own right. However it's not a true project mgr tool as completion of the sub items does not count towards/affect the higher level item, which will need to be checked off in its own right.

You can't create a child of a sub-item, ie project/level 1/level 2.

Is that what you wanted to know?
