I hope this is true, because it looks pretty sick this way...
Does it? It hasn't ever done it for me...I think it does that in the evening past around 7 o’clock. They figure today’s forecast not as useful as tomorrow’s by then.
I also saw that momentarily sometime earlier today. Then it went to the little chart when precipitation is coming soon and the rest of the day (after the rain) it went back to the hourly forecast.I hope this is true, because it looks pretty sick this way...

Common issue. Some fixes have been a restart of the phone or removing and then re-adding the widget.Does the Weather widget work for anyone on ios14? Is it just a proof of concept or is it just mine that doesn't work.
I either have a black square or a pretty Weather widget, the only problem, it is the same temp all the time.
When you select it and launch the weather app, the real temp is shown.
A restart fixed my black screen widget but it has now been replaced by the static weather widget.Common issue. Some fixes have been a restart of the phone or removing and then re-adding the widget.
What do you mean by "static weather widget"? The new widgets are all static for the most part.A restart fixed my black screen widget but it has now been replaced by the static weather widget.
I'll see if Beta 4 will fix.
Meaning that it could be 20 degress below zero outside and my weather widget happily shows 90 degress, light blue all the time. What do you mean by "static weather widget"? The new widgets are all static for the most part.
Ah, so you mean "static" as in not updating, not as in "not dynamic" (as were some of the old style widgets that allowed interactions. Once you get it to start updating (and not a black square), it will do so on a regular basis or when some event (a weather warning or impending precipitation) causes it to do so. Usually just takes a little time.Meaning that it could be 20 degress below zero outside and my weather widget happily shows 90 degress, light blue all the time.
But it seems to have been fixed. I'm getting different temps and shades live on the screen now.
