I have a couple of questions about the MBP

I currrently have a Imac G5 and Imac intel
is it possible to let the Imac be a external screen for a macbook pro?

What do you think about the screen glossy or normal?

and What are the biggest advantages of a HD screen?

(1)iMac's have no video input, and frankly for the money you would invest for a crappy video-in solution, you could buy a better external monitor for the MPB.

(2) Normal FTW.. mostly a matter of personal preference, but those glossy screens dont interact well with the fluorescent lighting at my workplace

(3) HD Screen? More resolution the better! Just be advised that if you have any intentions of playing games via bootcamp you will probably encounter much lower frame rates given the default resolution.

I just got a new Macbook Pro (first Mac). I love it. I ordered the glossy screen after seeing glossy PC notebooks in the stores. I think it is great. I don't have a problem with glare. Video and photos seem to really snap out at you on the glossy screen. I have used this MBP at home, in my vehicle (not while driving of course), and in a hospital waiting room with tons of fluorescent lights. I didn't have any problems with glare..... Just my experience.

General consensus is glossy screen is a no no for photography work ESP if you're printing. On the other parts I agree with the other guy. I'm buying mine early tomorrow morning!
