Hello I am thinking about getting a imac 21.5 inch 3.06GHz with the ATI Radeon HD 4670 graphics card.

I have looked on apples site and saw where they showed the ports i.e usb etc however I did not see a HDMI port do they come with those?

I spent around an hour in the apple store yesterday talking with a guy there (did not think to ask about the HDMI) he said they have a program that you can run a windows os along with the apple os. He was telling me this cause I told him of some of the games I play he said that the program allowed me to use my windows games and not have to re buy the apple version of the game. The game I play mostly is microsoft flight sim. So here comes the main question would the imac I'm looking at with the program he was talking about play pretty good on the imac? Also does the imac run games pretty good?

I talked with the apple guy about this yesterday but I would like to hear what you guys/gals think.

Thanks mike

The iMac does not come with an HDMI port, instead it comes with a Mini Displayport. With the Mini Displayport you can use adapters to connect to VGA, DVI, and HDMI displays (however the HDMI adapter is not sold through Apple).

And he was likely referring either to Bootcamp or to VMware Fusion/Parallels. Bootcamp comes with every Mac and allows you to install Windows on the computer natively as if it were a PC. With VMware Fusion or Parallels, Windows is virtualized, meaning that it runs on top of OS X in a separate window, and as a result, 3D gaming performance is not that great. Both require a Windows license, but I would recommend using Bootcamp for gaming since it takes full access of the graphics card. And yes, the iMac you are interested should handle Flight Simulator pretty well. Hopes that answers your questions.

Yes that answers them well enough for me. Thanks for the help.

Also one more thing can someone point me to some reviews on the imac? I have googled it and found most of them to be places macworld. I want reviews from just regular people that has bought them.

Thanks
