Thinking of moving back to iphone but there is some problems i ask if someone got a solution !

- how do i get rid off lockscreen and all button clicking ? (No passcode is used) like the android softtouch buttons !

- mail for ios seem to be very buggy ( getting some of this messages "format error - tell sender to change email program" most are using ios mail ... mail(mac), gmail, thunderbird and web has no problem with the message ??? )
So i had to switch to gmail but ... How do i turn off conversation view for IMAP on the ios app, there is a switch for that on android-gmail ?

- is there a switch to tell photos to stop the intrusive photo scan ? Can install google photos, but feels weird to replace all apple apps with google and vlc ... etc 🤔

Turn off lockscreen: Settings -> Touch ID & Passcode -> Turn Passcode Off

Mail app problems: unfortunately I don't have the issues you describe so I can't help there

Intrusive photo scan: I'm not sure which intrusive photo scan you are talking about?

Hi

I wrote that no passcode is not used, it's the clicking on the home button i think is so boring.

Gmail (iphone/android), Mail.app (mac), thunderbird, web can all open the message without problem, so it's an ios-issue .,. It seem this only happens when sent from another ios/mail
text/plain is probably the most common email format still !

Photo puts photos in folders cat,dog,house,contact,friends...etc can't find how to turn this crap off !

To avoid having to click the home button to get from lock screen to home screen, have you tried Settings -> Accessibility -> Home Button -> Rest Finger to Open? I believe it requires you to have a passcode, and Touch ID enabled.

You still need to do something to wake up the iPhone screen, but once you're in the lock screen you can just rest your finger over the home button (no need to click it) and it will take you to the home screen.

As for the photo content categorization, I don't believe there's a setting for that. For what it's worth, I don't have the kind of folders you mentioned in Photos, even though I have pictures of the kinds of things you listed.

Hi

Only 2 slow clicks works, maybe works with touchid but that's not an option !

If enabling Touch ID to make use of the Rest Finger to Open is not an option, then unfortunately I'm not aware of any other software options. You would need to move to an iPhone without a home button to gain access to the "swipe to home screen" feature.

Never had any mail issues at all. I have many accounts and all email comes into the Mail app for all of them - have been using it this way since the 3GS without issue. I actually prefer the simplicity of mail over other apps.

Actually, I just thought of one other option for avoiding the physical home button:

Settings -> Accessibility -> Touch -> AssistiveTouch

Enable this option and set the Single-Tap custom action to "Home". You'll now have an "virtual home button" visible on-screen at all times, including in the lock screen. You can drag it around to where you want it to sit. Tap it to go from the lock screen to home screen.
