I'd wait. Put aside $$ now until October (or even later) Likely to be ~$899 this year for X model.Hi guys,
Long time lurking, don't post often. Looking for some thoughts. I currently have the iPhone 6S - was thinking of getting the iPhone X.
Few questions
1 - is the 1,000 investment worth it?
2 - when does the new iPhone come out? Should I wait? Get the X?
Thank you!
25% discount when you sell your iPhone 6S first.
The new iPhone X that will be announced is believed to be cheaper than the current X so if you can wait you may be able get it for as little as $899 or so rather than $999 for the version that is about to be outdated.Hi guys,

That’s I’m looking for, improvement Face ID is must.Wait till September. Will probably have better FaceID sensors
Get AirPods;... the only thing killing me is the no headphone jack/the dongle. So annoying. Guess I’ll be updating my headphones too soon!

Are people having issues based on distance from the screen? Mine seems to work pretty good but there are issues like when I am in the car and it is in it's base and I look at it, sometimes I have to do it 3 or 4 times.That’s I’m looking for, improvement Face ID is must.
What do you mean?
I got them and while they're great, the ease of use isn't even close to the one's you plug in. Can't just go "oh call is coming in let me plug them in and answer". They always have to be connected to Bluetooth in the background, pulled out of the case to use and are slow to initialize. Still too cumbersome for real every day uses outside of maybe working out IMO.Get AirPods;
I use LG that sit around your neck and hang down, to turn on just one little click on the device so you just reach up to your neck and click it on also I dont have to take them out of my pocket, etc.I got them and while they're great, the ease of use isn't even close to the one's you plug in. I just did, from a 7 Plus, 2 weeks back. I probably should have waited until the September announcement but Best Buy was giving too good a Fourth of July sale to pass up.
I can’t tell you if it’s worth the price I paid for it but I am very happy with mine and quite glad that I got it.
