Thinking of making my own leather strap

I'm a Closet Krafty Person so stuff like this gets my creative juices stirring.

Off to the local Goodwill to find some raw material aka leather belts and such.

Wow that's cool! I've been looking at making some jean bands and fabric bands. But unfortunately I keep putting it off (but I did get a heavy duty sewing machine so that's a step closer!)
