Hey all,
I've been going over this in my mind for about 2 days, I have an i-mate Ultimate 9502 as my main phone right now, but txting on it SUCKS. The keyboard has terrible lag, I type more than twice the speed on my iPod Touch, only because the keyboard on the i-mate takes about half a second to 2 seconds to register every keystroke. It also has no buffer, so you can't just wait for it to catch up, it misses out on most of the letters you type.
I loved my old HTC Hermes, the typing was great, but it suffered the white screen death :(

Anyway I'm thinking of selling the i-mate to buy an iPhone 3G/3G S, I have no problem selling my phone and waiting for the iPhone to arrive as I have lots of phones that I can use while I'm waiting, including an i-mate JAM running WM6.5, one of the fastest WinMo phones I have ever used.

Something that I would miss though is having a filesystem to store my stuff in natively, since I have multiple folders of photos and a 'special' folder for my girlfriend ;) haha
I know I could use MobileFinder or something like that, but I kind of prefer the ease of use of the file explorer on WinMo.
Also, multitasking and hardware buttons. I love having dedicated buttons for Messaging, Internet, File Explorer etc.. and I sometimes do more than one thing on my phone, although slowly.
To all iPhone users who complain about lag and slowness, you don't know lag until you have used a WinMo phone.

One more thing, anyone using Telstra with an iPhone, can you get onto the Bigpond WAP site to use whereis, check your statement/usage etc.? because I use this alot.

Opinions/suggestions?
