This is nothing more than a speculative topic which begs the question from the subject.
This may be comparing apples and oranges but how can Apple keep shrinking the sizes of their iMac and Macbook lines but still can't make the Mac Mini any thinner?
Just curious. I'm not a know it all of chipset designs and internal apple architecture, but I thought we would be seeing something resembling a Time Capsule by now.

. The MacBooks haven't gotten that much thinner, but in large part the unibody design really helped the placement of the battery. I'm sure they could get smaller to some degree, but heat is a common enemy - one has to way the risk.
