it's not a scroll wheel, it still has the play button in the middle, and volume buttons,
it's just flat to the surface, like the scroll wheel

Looks OK, but I like your iPod Classic mockup better. It seems too oddly rounded to be realistic, but great try. It's not like I could do any better.

If you want my honest opinion, I don't like the flat wheel on the Shuffle. Make it like the old one, but keep the black, that would look sweeeet

Aside from flash upgrades, I see no reason to change the Shuffle. Unless you can add a screen to an iPod that small and still keep it darn cheap, it doesn't need any improvement. No need to re-invent the wheel.
