I plugged my iphone se into a usb on my laptop. When i do this normally, it would recognize it and/or charge it etc. I'm trying to put some music into my iphone se.

First issue is i got this message

This Accessory May Not Be Supported

But when i plug in and out, sometimes my iphone charges when i just tried this many times I have not plugged my iphone into my computer in a while as all i ever do is charge it with my charger into an outlet.

I do see the my iphone that shows my folder when i first plugged it in. But then its not there anymore.

Can someone tell me how do i fix this issue? Is this software or hardware?

Because when i unplug it from my computer and then charge my phone on an outlet with the charger, there is no issue with it. I checked online and some people say you might have debris or something in the iphone and you have to use toothpick to get it out etc. But that cannot be the case since it charges normally when using the charger into an outlet right?

Also the other issue im having is itunes does not seem to open. I uninstalled it and installed it again. It does show the icon on my desktop of the computer but when you click on it, nothing opens. I tried this many times.

Try using a new lightning to USB cable to attach your iPhone SE to your PC. Tried to answer your other question about iTunes in your iTunes thread so check there also.

I tried it again and it worked. But then did it again and it didn't. I cant imagine this being related to the cable as when i connect it to an outlet to charge, there is no problem at all. So wouldn't that most likely be a software issue?
