Hi

I got new hard disk and formatted and partitioned it. I made OS installer in USB. I am getting the below error when I am installing

"This copy of the install os x EI Capitan application can't be verified. It may have been corrupted "

I read some tech notes to set the date. I did that as well. Its going through till "About a second remaining" and then getting the above error message after 20 min. I tried with following options

1) while booting up hold option key - Did not work. Same error
2) while booting command + option + P + R did not work either.

I am using macbook pro mid 2010.

Any suggestion or help on this to install OS on my new hard drive?

Try disabling wi-fi during installation. I think that's the problem with the 1 second remaining bug.

I disabled and then tried installation. Still the same error. I tried again pressing command + option + R + P to recover from internet. downloaded the software after that its not rebooted. After download complete its again showing me the options diskutility , reinstall OS so and so ....... Any one have any clue. Even my hard disk partitioned and erased with OS X journal. Date is also showing current.

Create a new USB drive, if you can. I've had that happen to one of my Mavericks or Yosemite drives (cant remember which one) and the only thing I was able to do was to format and create a new drive.
