This Dynex fm transmitter doesn't charge my ipod....

I just got it and plugged in my USB to ipod connector thing and connected it to the my car. The music plays fine but it doesn't charge like it says it should...

Any ideas?

I've found the same thing with mine... it'll charge a Classic and a Nano, but not the Touch. I'm guessing the Touch needs more power than the transmitter can give it or something?
