..................to finally have something on the home screen other than rows of icons/folders. "Keep Today View on Home Screen" option, is the step in the right direction I've been waiting the longest for.

How did you get the weather info showing on the widget. Can you share the trick?
Do you mean the next 6 hours forecast? Just tap the > in the upper right corner of the widget and it will expand. Or do you mean something else?
Yes I mean simple weather showing for the current moment in the widget with an expanded view.That way !
