I use iMessage to text my family in Europe (I live in the States) and it has been great so far since it is all intergrated. But occasional hiccups in the system or who knows what causes those messages to be sent as a text message.
And this can get expensive when sending abroad! I type up the message, wait to see if it's a blue box that's being sent, confirm it, only to find out a few minutes later that it was sent as a text message.
Could they not put in a little warning box saying that it is going to be sent as a text message after initially saying it was an iMessage?
