Check this... When I hit "get info" on my X folder in OS X Tiger, under date created it says April 1st, 1976. Same with the apps folder too. Kinda neat.. :eek:

Mine Says 2006... I think your Date and time were messed up when you first got your Mac.

Yeah but wasn't Apple founded on april 1st 1976? So im just special. :)

That's just the earliest possible file creation date (or almost). That's also the date it shows when your pmu battery dies, or when os9 systems (and earlier) get weird.

Are you running Panther? Because my iBook G3 (running Panther) says the same thing.
