But nevertheless I thought I'd ask.

I'm one of those very neat guys who always worries about the tiniest of things XD Anyway my HD got erased or something when I was trying to use bootcamp and such. Anyway I went for a repair and he replaced the logic board,

I just noticed though that after he put the glass panel back on (assuming he took it off) right where the iSight is the glass goes out about 1mm (maybe a bit less). Not that big, I know but I was wondering if it's meant to be like that and wether or not it will cause a problem on some stage.

Lol xD Mainly just that the glass aligns in around the edges except near the iSight its gets 'out' as it gets closer to the centre where the iSight is located, and there it sticks out like 1MM. Will it be a problem for the iSight or anything? *paranoid*

Ok so the glass of the panel sticks out? Did you test the iSight? I think you're fine but if it's a problem you could always send it back.

Oh and, if it is probably nothing to react about you're kind of too late--hence the thread.

Ok, I just felt around the glass on my iMac and there is a micron descernable difference where it contacts the aluminum frame.

The bottom left is a micron lower than the aluminum
and the top left is a micron higher than the aluminum, whereas the other areas are flush.

I got mine in Sept. and never considered it a problem since temperature and humidity can effect any item.

A micron is quite small. You must have a very accurate ruler.

I think your fingers have the capability to discern 1/2500 of an inch or less and even when something is flush or not, so maybe 10 microns is more accurate.
