I am unable to send and receive iMessages from my iOS5 iPhone 4 to another iOS5 device. Where is the setting for message receipts, etc? Arggh!

I just noticed in my iCloud Preferences on my Mac, it says I have not verified the account. It's an Apple ID I have been using for a long time. I never got a Verification eMail after setting up iCloud, so I clicked, Send Another Verification eMail. But I still have not received the second one either.
