15p gets quite warm while just streaming music playing through its speakers. None of my previous phones ever got even remotely warm playing tunes. It’s as warm as it is playing games. I didn’t want to add on to the heat complaints, but this is weird imo. I wish I had screenshots of how my 11 did with tunes and battery, but I don’t

That isn't normal. Are you running iOS 17.0.3? That's supposed to fix the overheating issues.

Yup! I haven’t had any other issues with heat, even on 17.0. Strange that Apple Music seems to be stressing the phone so much

Very strange. I drove for six hours last night and had Apple Music playing over mobile data (lossless) and my iPhone 13 was fine.
