It will range from easy to impossible. If you are working with the site and it has a REST API to access its info there should be some kind of documentation of the REST API. If you are not working with the site it will probably be impossible to 'develop and app for this kind of site.' You require permission to access the info on the sit.e

Well I have access to the site so that's not a problem. Do you recommend only REST APIs?

Btw, what ecommerce back-ends are compatible with all mobile platforms?

If it does becomes a separate development not connected to the site I guess the client has no way to update products/prices etc.

What do you think of white-label i.e. mobi-cart?
