It was gimped and the price was only reduced $50 in Canada.

Remember to add 29$for the dvi adapter since they removed that. You save 20$ for a big apple turd

Yep. Just remember to throw out your monitor if you go the iMac route or pony up 3k for a Mac Pro. Have fun .

Maybe we should wait for some reviews to see if the base is slower then the last one....on a specs positive it now comes with 4g ram compared to 2g,has usb 3 compared to usb 2.

Both my Minis came with adaptors that I didn't want, so I had to buy another. Better to not include an adaptor in the box (and the price), and let customers buy one to suit.

It would have also been nice if the the 2014 999$ high end mini was not out performed by they 2 year old 799 Mid 2012 Mini.

I would rather the did not charge 200$ more for an inferior computer. I guess you can't please everyone!!

Exactly. I mean why not buy one of the other many choices Apple has out there for a standalone desktop. Oh wait...they don't have any other choices besides the Mac Pro.
