I took this screenshot today, sent it to a few of my PC-using friends, and they immediately wanted to switch to a mac, so I guess I'll show it to you guys. Click here to see it.

BTW, my favorite thing is to use BackLight (free) with the Cosmos screen saver. Seeing the astronomy shots panning and zooming by underneath your desktop is a sure-fire way to help convert a few heathens.

Get it playing full-screen, then ⌘-Tab to another running app. Instant movie desktop.aussie_geek said:How do you set a movie to play as your desktop?

Konfabulator, Object dock, object bar, and AveDesk make it look EXACTLY the same.

Wow, that's def the coolest thing I've seen all week!jsw said:Um... well, I suppose it didn't take much. You can do a lot more with Dashboard! But hey, if it worked, it worked!

I'm glad you like it. I love it when freeware and OS X combine so elegantly. The other screen savers work the same, but Cosmos just seems cooler to me than the others. BTW, you can add your own shots to the Cosmos screen saver by right-clicking on /System/Library/Screen Savers/Cosmos.slideSaver and selecting Show Package Contents, then opening Contents/Resources and dropping new pics there (you'll need an admin password).Plymouthbreezer said:Wow, that's def the coolest thing I've seen all week!
