It works well, thank you! However, if I understand your tool correctly, I have to keep SIP off permanently just for the sake of AirPlay. If I ever have to restart my Mac and/or turn SIP on again, I have to start the whole process again. That's cumbersome.
I think I will not use this feature permanently, only for very specific use cases like playing an iPhone game with friends or showing photos on a big screen when on vacation and without any WiFi for iCloud photos to work.
By the way: It is a shame Apple didn't include this feature for older Macs if, as your shortcut shows, it does seem to work with them: My MacBook Pro is from 2017 and just 4 years old. Smells like planned obsolescence to me...
