Haha, why not? Just 'cuz its pink? I know a few girls that would be more apt to buy it in that color.
If the silver keys/trackpad didn't clash so horribly with the pink I'd love to buy one for the future wife.
Oh, and if it weren't so darn expensive. She's only going to use a computer for AIM and MySpace, so there's no point in buying her a $2000 machine, haha.

Exactly. They always leave the keyboard and trackpad the stock color. Can you say "clash?"
I don't think painting the trackpad would be the best idea, really. And for the keyboard it would also be a tough paint job because of the writing on the keys (or the absence of color, as you will, on MBPs).
Is it possible to order, from somewhere, a white keyboard/trackpad from somewhere and replace it yourself? THEN...the colors might not "clash" so much. 
i doubt they are gonna get the price they paid for that monstrosity.

meh I don't mind it, I agree the keyboard & trackpack look butt ugly against the pink. But really, if some one wants a pink laptop it's not skin off my back.
