I’ve seen a few people using Sierra Blue iPhone 13 Pros recently. That was such a unique and cool color. In recent years we have had Pacific Blue, a couple of shades of green, nice golds, and a deep purple (which I thought was too dark, but whatever). If you wanted white or grey or black, those were available too

In addition, the “regular” series always had a few deep, unique colors.

What happened this year? Nine colors, all pretty weak?

I actually prefer the new titanium blue to the pacific blue. It’s all subjective though, I prefer more muted and less flashy colors in general.

I prefer black.

Unfortunately, the last model I purchased that had black is the Black/Slate iPhone 5. For all the models I own, Apple was only offering Space Gray then. So, I got as close to black as I could.

If and when Apple no longer offers black, or as close to black as I can get, I will complain.

I don’t see that ever happening.
And I don't see a complaint about colors from me ever happening. ;)

Everyone's different of course, but I will say that color complaints didn't really get traction around MacRumors until the gold iPhone 5s.

I would not say ALL colors. White and back are ‘staple’ or ‘main’ colors since the inception of iPhone and carried over each year to date to iPhone Pro and are not weak, while the remaining colors in iPhone Pro lines are fad used as flagship color for promotion and marketing depending on Apple’s choice which are exciting at first during first few months after launch and easily regretted afterwards like what I experienced for years - I decided to stop following non white flagship phone color as my main favorite phone color is always white to avoid regret.
Pink for regular model is not weak.
