Those Experiencing Crashes/Excessive Hangups in DP4/PB1

Did you perform a fresh install/partition or did you install over your primary 10.9.4 account? I ask because I was thinking, maybe people who installed over their 10.9.4 account are having more problems than those who did a fresh install on an external HDD or partition?

Essentially, are people experiencing more problems when they installed 10.10 over 10.9.4 and all their files, or when they did a fresh install? I did a fresh install on a separate partition and I have yet to run into any major problems.

I voted main drive no issues, yet what I actually did is clone my Mavericks installation over to another partition and upgraded that. It's essentially the same as an upgrade yet it preserved my Mavericks installation just in case.

I did a fresh install, but it still managed to hang three times, the first it didn't bring up all the menus for the installer and froze, the second it brought up the menus then got to 6 minutes and froze, the third time it completely lost the keyboard and trackpad when I changed the keyboard layout to Australian and I had to reboot but then it let me into the OS and it's been running OK ever since.

I expected this all though so it's no big deal.
