The iPhone headphones are impossible to aim into the ear correctly. They "hang" in the ear okay, but to get some full volume and sound quality out of them, it takes a contortionist balancing act to aim them directly into the ear.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Fabric covers like they used to have (i.e. stolen from another pair of earphones)? It seems like buying a set is absurd (e.g. $10 for three pairs of fabric covers at Target), but then you can buy $5 earphones that come with two pairs and just throw the earphones away. :D

I guess these silicone ones are not too unreasonably priced...

I don't honestly understand the new Apple earphone design either... but for my iPod, I just use earthumps.

Thank God I'm not the only one. I hate them. They're uncomfortable and don't fit, and I wish I had some of the black cushions from the iPod headphones laying around.
