  • The orange dot by the battery icon during a phone call (even though the status bar still turns green, as before);
  • The green dot by the battery icon during a FaceTime call (even though... same as above);
  • And, especially, the tiny green dot in the upper-right–most pixel of the screen during a FaceTime call...
Why??
 
I had to look them up in the User Guide. Green means that the camera is in use, and orange means that the mic is. I guess this is a case of wanting the built-in apps to have the same 'restrictions' as third-party ones.
