Matching colour scheme, but not a Mac layout to the keyboard. Do they do a Mac version? Ahh.. yes, but in silver.

I don't understand why the keys are white on Apple's keyboards when they haven't had a white Mac for years (even before the latest keyboard I believe.).

No numeric keypad?
No separate Home/End/Page Up/Page Down?
Weird rounded keys?
Shouty "FN" key?

That's a strange definition of "perfect".

I think these are the perfect Keyboard, mouse, and pad for the new Mac Pro. I own all three, and love them. Moshi backlit keyboard, Rat MMO 7 mouse, and Glide 9 Aluminum mouse pad. I do 3d modeling, and animation, and this combination is excellent!

The MS Natural Ergonomic 4000 is the best for the Mac Pro or any desktop computer. It is made by Microsoft whom I have found makes the highest quality keyboards in my opinion, Logitech for mice. It uses a cord so you won't have connection issues or waste batteries. You can install MS iType software for proper :apple: & Opt key placement.

It is also ergonomic. I'll take less joint damage over a sleek flat look anytime.

Sorry, just hate full stroke keyboards!

I was under the impression that the new pro was so far advanced that it used thought control, thus negating the need for a keyboard or mouse. What a let down.

Maybe, but it is the best mouse and pad I have ever used for 3D modeling! Plenty of programable, easy to remember buttons. tracking is flawless, and silky smooth on this mat.

dont get me wrong. i love how it looks. i just wish it was wireless :(
i would def buy it

I don't understand everyone's fascination with wireless keyboards. A wireless mouse, yep, I have two.

The keyboard is a stationary device, why does it have to be wireless? I use an illuminated keyboard with my mac, so I don't have to keep a light on my room. A wireless illuminated keyboard is hard on batteries.

On occasion, I have lost the bluetooth connection my mouse, and I need to use a wired mouse to restore it. A wireless keyboard IMO, would make the process that much harder.

Also, when starting up, if you want to use a keyboard command to change the StartUp Disk, you would be out of luck with a Wireless device.

With that being said, I have used a wireless keyboard, when I had an iPad, without incident, but for my Mac Pro, I prefer a wired illuminated keyboard with a numeric keypad

I'd rather have a great backlit mechanical full-ANSI layout keyboard instead of that thin wireless POS. So I guess everybody has its own "perfect" one.

14 ounces for a mouse? Too much mass for me.
