On carphone warehouse if you give them £30 you will get one on release day here in the UK for those that didn't know
Anybody planning to do this?

I wouldn't feel comfortable giving anyone a deposit without an exact release day. This isn't kickstarter.

I'm not sure about sim free, all the major carriers have won bids on 4G bands and if I understand it correctly, they aren't all compatible with each other, I wouldn't want a phone that at a later date I couldn't use 4G on O2.
Yes, don't quote me, it was something I read somewhere and could be having a senior moment, Vodaphone won't be long rolling out 4G (LTE?) though. Might be something to bear in mind though.

I know that when O2 have it they are offering a cut price buy out of contract for iPhone 5 owners without LTE.
If your in the UK theres a couple of great Galaxy S4 contacts avaialble.

Ive got 17 months left on my S3 contract, so will phone up to see how much to pay that off early - Ive worked out around £350. Can get £250 for my S3 and will start a new contract on one of the above deals.
Interesting
I've got about 18 months left on my iphone 5 contract and would be interested to know how much I would have to pay off too.
Obviously being with vodafone and the chance for them to pay for some of my contract when swapping my phone which would then have 4G...if I can get 4G I would do that..but not sure if it's possible.
Think chances are I will just buy it outright from carphone warehouse as doubt 4G is coming anytime soon in my area.
They have stated they will have them april 26th.
Who is "they?" My service provider doesn't offer a release date, so I still wouldn't be in to it.
One thing you gotta give Apple- their keynotes usually offer specifics consumers care about. Price, release date (for multiple countries), stuff like that. I'd much rather have that info right now than the bad memories of tap dancing kids and derp faces that the Samsung presentation left me with.
