Hello friends..
I usually read a lot of texts on my IPhone 11 ...
and now I'm going to upgrade but I'm really confused should I get the 12 or 12 mini ?
The mini looks great but I'm afraid it will be worse for the eyes and hard to read ..
Do you think they are the same in reading ? Help please .. tell me your thoughts

Order both sizes and return the one you don’t like to Apple. Or check them out in a store.

What others find too small or too big may mot work for you. If you can imagine working with a smaller screen than the one you have right now, that might be an indication.

Also keep on mind that text size in ios can be adjusted, see settings. That might make it easier for you to work with a slightly smaller screen.

Lastly, if my personal use case was just focussed on reading text messages- I would not upgrade yearly.

perhaps just wait until they are all out and get reviews then
with an iphone 11 in your hand there can't be any rush

I mean I’m young so my eyes are good enough where even an iPhone 7 or the original Se would be fine with me.
That said you also can enlarge text size and zoom.

The Mini is around the same width as the 6-8, so just use that as a reference.

My thoughts: I can read the text messages on my Apple Watch without difficulty so I'm sure you will be able to read them on the mini without difficulty. However comparing my last smaller iPhone, the iPhone 8, with the 11 Pro, the text is much easier and more comfortable to read on the Pro. If texting accounts for much of your use, I would go with the 12/12 Pro.

I wanted an Apple Watch but watching my friend type was annoying lol

I'd stay on your iPhone 11 unless you're on an annual upgrade program. If you are on such a program, I'd go with the full-sized iPhone 12 as it will be the same size screen that you're used to.

That all being said, you have much more of a chance to strain your eyes on the 12 than you will on the 11 due to the different screen technology; however, that's only really pronounced in super low-light conditions and your vision mileage may vary heavily on this one. The only straining you might do is coping with much less screen real estate (and therefore less room to view information).
