I was lucky enough to download Netshare when it came out. I finally got a Mac and set it up recently. One thing I was curious about is if the 3G network could handle Slingbox. That is, could I use my laptop (using 3G network via Netshare) say on a road trip to access my home TV via Slingbox? Could the network handle the data or do you need a wireless network? I don't have a Slingbox but I was just curious if this would work. Thanks.

It works well

I routinely get 900kps when I use Netshare and my Slingbox. As long as you're in 3G, you should be fine.

The iPhone gets pretty warm after using this for about 10 min. Bet I'm not doing the battery a whole lotta good.

My biggest issue is that periodically the Netshare app closes and I have to restart it again. Anyone else have the same?

Yes, 2.2.1

I've not had Netshare stop working yet with newer versions of the phone...hope 3.0 doesn't do us in!
