For those who do not know, newcomers or those that haven't ran into it. Its french so use google translate if you really need it. On the site you can choose iWidgets, themes, apps, ect..., and its all organized so you dont have to hunt for whatever mod/tweak. So if you want a decent amount of choices you can browse the site and download directly from their repo.

REPO: http://iPHONiX.myrepospace.com/

enjoy if you've never been there

Offering paid apps for free?

lol i hope not... i got it for the widgets I didn't see any duplicates of apps that were offered in the default repos. Why is that the case with this?

edit. na it doesn't i don't think, just went through the repo looks legit. Its just a decent site if you want to browse for whats available without digging through forums. just french.

personally i wouldn't pay for a license to use an app, the one time i did IntelliBorn said "Sorry, you have to buy another license to use this on iOS 6".

That was the last they heard from me :p

a combo of both lol. If i went around paying for everything that interested me I would be broke.

Get a better job? Or, take a closer look at what you get and stop purchasing for example meaningless themes? ;)

Frankly, I don't know. I've purchased all the Cydia stuff I needed and only "pirated" once (to give the $10 Quasar a test drive before purchasing - $10 is the threshold where I don't want my throw away my money on non-working stuff), immediately purchasing it after it turned out to be delivering.

Here's my purchase list (some stuff already removed by their authors missing; for example, Skype Recorder. Also missing are stuff only purchasable via IAP like Elias Limneos' Audio Recorder (I have purchased two licenses), RushPlayer+ (two licenses for two of my iPads) and Super Recorder. I have all the great tweaks I need - and this definitely hasn't broken me:

Wow!!!! Hypocrisy at its best.

IMO these Devs have gotten out of control with the pricing.
If I can test drive and like a package I will pay for it. Cydia is like the App store now.

in my opinion, there'll always be people like this

no one likes to pay for stuff, everyone wants free stuff (to which I would agree with them too). but at the same time, no one would like to give away their work for free, they want some money from it

there are some packages in cydia that do give you a trial/free version (i do agree that it would be nice if more tweaks had free/trial versions though)

these are some that come to mind

biteSMS?
Lockinfo?
MultiIconMover+ vs MultiIconMover?
WiFiFoFum Pro vs WiFiFoFum?
Photo Organizer Pro vs Photo Organizer?
PassworldPilot Pro vs PasswordPilot?

not to mention there are many free tweaks that are regularly maintained without any form of ad revenue, but depend on donations

and for the ones that don't have trial/free versions, there are usually free alternatives.

StatusModifier vs Cloaky? (albeit Cloaky has much more functionality)
BatteryLife vs iBatteryInfoPro?
all those itty bitty small tweaks spread apart vs Springtomize?

I think they do deserve it, especially when you consider their exposure is much more limited than do the developers in the app store and as a result, make less money

but everyone's entitled to their own opinion so i'm going to leave it here as is
