I recently went out to the Disneyland Resort, and as I was traipsing through Downtown Disney I noticed that the giant electronic billboard over at the House of Blues had "crashed".

I don't think it cuts down on bandwidth at all? You're still downloading the full size image?
No, TIMG presents a thumbnail linked to the original image. Slow connections (and iPhones) hates some IMG tags!

Nope, timg loads the full image but just shows it downsized. You're still downloading the entire image. Just right click on a timg'd image and click "View Image" or "Properties" and you'll see its not a thumbnail, but rather the entire image squished.
What do you mean running Macs by now. They are. That was Windows that had crashed because the Mac it was running on wouldn't handle the load. LOL

My favorite are the BSODs at the airport. I sure hope the traffic control systems aren't running the same OS!
Disney uses iPhones, and were one of the beta companies for 3G... I believe only Pixar uses Macs...
