I recently went out to the Disneyland Resort, and as I was traipsing through Downtown Disney I noticed that the giant electronic billboard over at the House of Blues had "crashed".

Not the best way to advertise for Windows, I suspect.

BTW, try TIMG tags next time, it cuts down on bandwidth & display size: [ timg ]http://homepage.mac.com/kkachurak/Crash2.JPG[ /timg ]

I don't think it cuts down on bandwidth at all? You're still downloading the full size image?

No, timg still downloads the whole image, but presents it in a smaller size.

No, TIMG presents a thumbnail linked to the original image. Slow connections (and iPhones) hates some IMG tags! :D

Nope, timg loads the full image but just shows it downsized. You're still downloading the entire image. Just right click on a timg'd image and click "View Image" or "Properties" and you'll see its not a thumbnail, but rather the entire image squished.

Yep, forces it to 300 pixels across, no matter what size it was originally.

What do you mean running Macs by now. They are. That was Windows that had crashed because the Mac it was running on wouldn't handle the load. LOL

I would say FAIL, except the last time we got on that topic the thread was removed.
