As I stated in another thread, I'm going to be posting my thoughts about the three in comparison. I figured this would be a good of a place as any, considering it'd likely be moved here on the basis if being about non-iOS devices.
That's what I'm going to be talking about first, while I get the rest of the thoughts coalesced.
The devices themselves are interesting to compare. Two 6" (well, one 5.96" and one 6") and one 5.5", yet they look to be about the same size due to bezels. The Nexus 6 actually feels the best in the hand, mainly because of the fact that I'm paranoid and don't use my 6+ without a case. Outside of it, the iPhone feels fantastic, but it's not leaving the case when I'm using it.
Screens are also good on all of them, though I am preferring the Nexus 6 for the brightness and colors. The other two are close, though, so this isn't something I'd pick just for the screen. It's also better with fonts for some reason, I'm guessing the resolution.
The speakers are loudest on my Nexus 6. That isn't to say that the others are bad, just I was surprised that it was as loud as it was. Maybe it's the front facing speakers?
Camera is also something I had checked. It's ... good, better than I expected given some people's reviews. Given the same picture on all three devices, my sister even preferred the Nexus 6. It was a shocker, given the fact that the Lumina 1520 is something I've always looked at as the great camera with a phone attached. That being said, it's not as fast as I'd like with HDR. The Lumia still has it beat on that one, as does the iPhone.
Battery life isn't bad on any of them, though with 5.1 I'm getting better battery life on my Nexus 6.
I know what some of you out there are likely to put, that this was just me saying the Nexus 6 is great. I won't deny that it is, but these are just thoughts off the top of my head from the past few days of experience. Something I didn't know how to put above, by the way, is that this phone has the best connection speed. That's saying a lot, considering my 1520 was on ATT and this is Sprint.
