Wonder if anyone else has experienced this. I have a 2018 MBP (2.6 I7 512gb 16gb ram). On Friday, all 4 thunderbolt ports refused to charge, recognize any peripherals. I called Apple and was referred to a Apple Specialist who could not run diagnostics for the same issue. When apple received the machine, they claim that everything is fine with the machine. The Apple Specialist is pushing for Apple to replace the logic board.
Prior to turning it in to Apple, I had tried 2 different Apple Power adaptors, Targus Thunderbolt Dock, and LG Ultrafine display as well as a PRAM & SMC reset and it did not recognize or receive power from any of them.
Thoughts since Apple now wanted more info and is pushing back on the Logic Board replacement since they say the computer is fine. Apple replaced the top case/keyboard in December.
