Thoughts on placement of volume buttons?

Hello,

Is it just me or is anyone not so happy with the volume and orientation switches on the right side (when in portrait with home button on bottom)?

Now I'm getting so confused , because I just made the switch from an iPod touch (lock button on left) to an iPhone (lock button on right), and now apple has to screw me over again by moving the volume buttons from the left (on iPhone) to right.

Just me?

When I use my iPad in landscape, I have my headphones sticking out of the right side (maybe because I'm left handed? Dunno) , then my volume buttons are on the bottom so access is really difficult.

I find the volume rocker very difficult to press using the Apple case. They aren't very prominent and they're basically in a hole with the case. So, I search around in the "hole" with my finger trying to determine where the button is until I find it.

Same here. It is tough to distinguish the orientation lock from the volume rocker by touch when the case is on.

Both same side as the iPod touch. No idea why. Maybe just a design choice.
