Howdy folks,

I just got yesterday's (1/26) stats and in addition to the paid sales around the world, there is an entry for 3,332 no charge downloads in the U.S.

Obviously it's not promo codes (50 max). The only coincidence is update 1.1 came out yesterday. I see three possibilities:

1) For a brief time, it was listed/available as a Free App? Though I never saw it as such in iTunes.

2) Does Apple download versions internally, at no charge? Do Apple employees get them for free (which is fine by me... staff pick would be nice!) or do they test it this way?

3) Is this how they record UPDATES? So 3,000+ users have updated already?

I'm curious if anyone else has seen this kind of a spike or glitch. Thanks.

(Also, if you're a 100sounds user, some folks have reported needing to delete and install the app, as we've made so many enhancements. Apple will NOT charge you twice for the same app).

MacToddB,

Look at the "Product Type Identifier" on your report.

1 = New Download
7 = User Updated Application
