Ok so I am in love with the game De Blob from THQ. Its fun, simple, and a great pick up and play game but I have a serious issue with THQ and their pricing of the app.

Ok so the app launched for $9.99 but I didn't buy it, I waited for Touch Arcade to review it.

The app goes to $6.99, and I buy it.

I tell my friend today to buy it for only $6.99 and when he goes to purchase it the final check out says he paid $7.99. When he went back to the De Blob app page on iTunes the price was changed to $7.99 even though when he clicked it on his iPhone is said $6.99

I know its only a dollar but come on THQ, what's the deal? Pick a price and stay with it.

They're probably just trying to gauge what price works best for this app. In my opinion, it's a bargain at $7.99 and I easily paid $9.99 for it when it first came out without regret (for these types of polished, original games, 10 bucks is a great deal and I think it is silly for people to be complaining that it's too expensive when many of you would have paid $24 to $34 for the exact same game on the Nintendo DS.)

I think people are still undervaluing these games because there is a mindset that it's "just a cellphone game" (from the general public) but the iPhone is a powerful gaming platform in it's own right.

No, I understand what you mean and yeah I would up to $20 for this game but it still feels a little unfair that everyday there is a different price.

The listing on iTunes Store shows this
De Blob THQ Wireless Inc. De Blob $6.99 Games

But when you click on the app that page says $7.99

Must be owned by the oil companies :p
