I figured that seeing as there's a lot of people in here running 4.0, we may as well start a list of apps that have issued under OS 4.0.

For example -

Reeder now crashes at the end of its sync. It's fine otherwise.

Gowalla has all sorts of graphical corruption, as if some assets are missing.

Mail (yeah, MAIL!) isn't pushing my MobileMe email consistently.

qStatus - when uploading an image to Twitter, the app thinks it's a video clip.

TumblrGear is borked.

Tweetie 2 crashes when searching.

We Rule doesn't let you buy anything, list is scrollable but clicking on an item does nothing.

Now I know things like this are to be expected - I just thought a list may come in handy for some people, devs included.

Original Gangstaz - I can no longer bank any money as the deposit button is missing :D

Facebook - I cannot upload any photos, all I get is a black screen.

I wonder how long it will be before devs start fixing these problems. I hope they don't sit on the updates until the OS launches!

With the beta of 3.0, developers started fixing bugs straight away for problemless apps when it arrived.

I can't send mail through my MobileMe account. It keeps telling me I need to enter an SMTP password in settings - there's already one there!

I think MobileMe is experiencing a few issues, as that sounds like a server thing. Add that to my erratic email pushing and I think/hope it's their end not ours.

MemoryInfo (the old version) and System Activity Monitor (version with the free memory capability) will not free up memory in 4.0. That's one thing I really want to work in the betas. Unfortunately the devs can't fix them since Apple won't allow any more apps that free up RAM.

- New York Times app crashes after a couple of seconds refreshing
- Flight Track Pro has some drawing issues (e.g. the flight times disappear after refreshing)
- Evernote crashes if I press "synchronize now" and it doesn't seem to download any notes
- heise.de crashes displaying newsticker items
- Ocado: crashes on startup

the ipod app crashes every time I try to play music.

Edit: We Rule seems to get the "could not connect" error a lot more than usual. Might just be a coincidence but it's happening enough that I felt the need to note it

For me:
Apple Gallery app is broken.

eBuddy Pro only showing "logging in", buddy list is not loading at all!

the rest are running pretty smooth.;)

another thing I just found out the hard way:

If you're using one of the built in apple apps (in my case the itunes store) and the app completely borks your phone, the multitasking will put it into a continuous loop of crashes and reboots every time it tries to re-initialize that crashed app after the reboot.

It took me manually clearing everything out of the multitask (even beyond the crashed app) between reboots before I could stop the loop.

For some reason I was laughing my butt off while I was doing it. I think I need some sleep.
