Threads about iPad damage

So I've been reading a bunch of threads about people getting their iPads damaged and I'm just wondering what the reasoning is for not having SquareTrade or some other type of insurance on it. Their coverage seems so reasonable. I'm used to always buying Apple Care for my products. To me, it makes sense to buy the coverage b/c I will be taking my iPad out more frequently than my laptop. I have a 4 year old and a 7 weeks old. My 4 year old loves the iPad and it is great to use at restaurants etc. Now that I have the coverage, the iPad is in a case, and has a screen protector... I pretty much don't worry about it anymore. Am I crazy? Even if I didn't have children, I would still have the coverage. I'll be traveling with my iPad and it takes all the stress away now.

I bought SquareTrade as well and am completely comfortable with using / taking my iPad around. I'll still buy Apple Care for my Macs though.
