I have an iphone which I sync with Itunes on my vista PC. I am getting the wife and daughter nanos for Christmas. Can I set up two more itune accounts so we all can sync with same 'puter but only get the music we want?

Thanks.

I'm a bit confused by the wording, but from what I understand, yes. iTunes accounts are independent of your computer, so all you have to do is log in to whichever one you want in iTunes. What do you mean by "only get the music we want?" I don't think you'll be able to set up your library where when you log into one account, the check/unchecked items change, but you can add your music into the iPods independently if you're syncing manually.

For ease of backup and my brain, i buy everything in one account and move it to their libraries (the kids - my husband wouldn't know how to sync his Nano if his life depended on it! LOL!!).

The kids and him have access to iTunes, and they build a list of what they want - but we buy it in my account.

A friend set up separate ones for her grandkids and DD and kinda wishes she hadn't. She loses track of what has been bought in what account and where is that song, and why won't it go on HIS iPod and all that.

But everyone has to ponder what will work for them.....
