Does anyone know if its possible to run three monitors off a macbook pro, do they make a DVI splitter cable or anything? I'm running both my 15" macbook pro monitor and a dell 24" and I would love to throw in my dell 19" monitor and just sell my PC I built that goes with it.

This should do it. http://www.matrox.com/mga/workstation/cre_pro/products/th2go/home.cfm

Mighty expensive though. And notice that using the TripleHead2Go on two monitors will make em act as one and not two separate monitors.

I know the PowerBooks can't do it. I tried it on my PowerBook last night. TV out on the S-Video port, an external monitor on the DVI port, and then of course the laptop display, and it didn't work.

There is a PCMCIA addon for Powerbooks though, its still not available (and nothing points that it will) for macbooks.

For that kind of pricing I rather just shell out an extra 1k and get a Mac Pro, no offense.
No offense taken.

I agree, if I need to run that many monitors I would just go with a desktop system. But hey, a solution is a solution for whoever is willing to pony up the dough.
