OS X Throwback to StarCraft

I decided on a whim to re-buy StarCraft tonight via Battlenet digital download. The game downloaded fine, but I cannot install it.

Update:

I found my answer. I did not realize having too new of a computer could possibly be a problem. Rage. Anyone know any work arounds for this issue?

Download the PC version and install it in Wineskin or Crossover - works fine on 10.8.3 for me.

You could download the SC1 in SC2 campaign mod for free (I am assuming you have SC2!).

The original dialogue is present but the game play is slightly different, allowing brood-war units such as medics can be built.
