I recently discovered that my Mac no longer recognizes my PNY 32GB thumb drive. Neither does it appear in Disk Utility. My PC sees it no problem. I've found references for this online regarding Yosemite, thumbs drives, and specifically PNY thumb drives, but have not found a solution.

Any ideas on how to make my Mac see this again? Thanks!

Does disk utility see it?

If you go into terminal, can you see it in /dev ? or mount it manually?

Thanks for responding! As per post 1, it does not appear in Disk Utility. How do I mount a disk manually? Ideally the goal would be to correct the issue so no hoops are required to make this drive appear on the desktop when plugged into the USB slot.
