iPod Thumbnails

Hi all

Can anyone tell me why Itunes has to redraw all the thumbnails for music, video and tv shows everytime i start it.
Is there not a way for it to remember all of this as it takes some time to start up as i have a large library.

When I'm in Album View if I scroll around quickly then it takes a second to catch up and fill in the image, but it doesn't seem to have any problem when I start the program... Are you getting some kind of message that says "Drawing Album Artwork" or something along those lines when you start iTunes?

I isa bit confuzzed here..

Not getting any messages at all, it just takes maybe 10 seconds for itunes to render the album artwork for the files. This just happens on startup, after that it is fine.
Its not really causing a problem, but i just wondered if i had missed something.
