THUNDERBOLT 3 CONNECTIVITY - SLOW TRANSFER SPEEDS IN M1 IMAC

Hello All,

The M1 I mac connected to External Seagate 2TB Firecuda SSD via Thunderbolt 3 cable is showing terrible transfer speeds (i.e) 25 - 40 MBps.
This is while transferring any data from the SSD to the internal SSD.

Also tried connecting to another SSD using same cable and the speed does not improve.

Any ideas what is happening here?
