Hey guys,

I am currently switching from an 2011 iMac to a 2015 MBPr w/ TBD.
Actually I was expecting that their panels are exactly identical. But I observed that the TBD's white has a comparably slight tint to red, or in other words, the iMac's white is slightly more green/yellow compared to the TBD. It is too slight to be recorded w/ an iPhone 6s camera but noticable with bare eyes.

Calibrating with on board tools didn't work since the white tone is never touched.
It also cannot depend on f.lux since I booted an installation where no f.lux is installed.
And it doesn't depend on whether the TBD is connected to the MBPr or the iMac and whether I boot 10.9 or 10.12.

Any ideas?

2nd question: I also witnessed that the Retina Panel shows less red saturation than both the iMac and the TBD. It's obvious with the Sierra default wallpaper.

Any similar observations?

Thanks for quick reply
Cheers
Danny
